Salamanca Cine is the production company created by Carolina M. Fernández and Jorge Leandro Colás to produce their first documentary feature film: “Retiro Shelter”. Since 2008, Salamanca Cine has shot a large number of documentary feature films, including “Exile from Malvinas”, “The football boys”, “Actress”, “House of masks”, “Back to Boedo” and “The visit”. All the films were premiered in cinema theatres in Argentina and they have screened in important international film festivals such as IDFA, Cinéma du réel, La Havana, Biarritz, Mar del Plata and BAFICI. Recently, Salamanca Cine has also jumped into fiction cinema, television and other screens. The name of the producer company is a tribute to the salamanca sequence in the film "Nazareno Cruz y el Lobo" by the great director Leonardo Favio.
